@Lulu - surely you could have bucked the trend by choosing any one of the parties that the ‘flock’ didn’t vote for? It’s a shame that the feeling that you were powerless to make a difference caused you to forfeit your right to vote.

I agree with Zef. This seems like peer pressure or some sort of flock mentality. That’s why I didn’t vote.

if the sheep following the flock analogy is true, then this election proved it - thing is people, where do most sheep in NZ end up?

Great post - you’ve hit the nail on the head and I think this level of awareness if why some people are successful in their career and some just turn up to work.
